Re: St. Lucie Unit 2 Docket No. 50-389 U dated FSAR Revision 4 Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.71(e), Florida Power 6 Light Company has completed a revision of the St. Lucie Unit 2 Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR). The required ten copies of the revision are enclosed.

The enclosed information accurately presents changes completed since the previous submittal (L-88-136, dated April 4, 1988),

necessary to reflect information and analyses submitted to the Commission or prepared pursuant to a Commission requirement. This revision includes activities completed between October 7, 1987 and October 6, 1988. The cover letter for the previous submittal (L-88-136, dated April 4, 1988) inadvertently stated that Revision 3 covered the period October 7, 1986 to October 5, 1987. The previous submittal actually covered the period October 7, 1986 to October 6, 1987.

In addition, Modifications we have enclosed a list of Plant Changes/

which were completed under the provisions of (PCM) 10 CFR 50.59 during this period. A brief description of the changes and a summary of the safety evaluation of each are submitted under a separate cover.
