SUMMARY

OF THE JULY 17, 2014, PUBLIC MEETING REGARDING BRAIDWOOD NUCLEAR POWER STATION On July 17, 2014, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a public meeting to discuss the 2013 annual assessment results for Braidwood Nuclear Power Station. The meeting was held at the Braidwood City Hall in Braidwood, Illinois. Enclosed are attendee lists for the meeting, a copy of the slides presented by the NRC staff during the meeting, and a copy of the slides presented by the licensees staff.

The meeting started with the NRC providing an overview of the reactor oversight process and the results of the 2013 annual assessment for Braidwood Station. The Braidwood Station staff then gave a presentation that included a discussion of their perspective on plant performance.

The business portion of the meeting closed with NRC staff describing some of the methods by which members of the public can share information with the NRC.

After the business portion of the meeting ended, the NRC staff and licensee staff listened to comments and answered questions from the public.
