OF THE JULY 14, 2020, PUBLIC WEBINAR TO DISCUSS THE NRC 2019 END-OF-CYCLE PLANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF BRAIDWOOD STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2; AND BYRON STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 On July 14, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (CDT), a public webinar was held by representatives of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to provide the public with information on the 2019 End-of-Cycle plant performance assessment of Braidwood Station, Units 1 and 2; and Byron Station, Units 1 and 2, along with general information on the NRC.
There were eight members of the public in attendance at this meeting, along with licensee personnel, and state and local government officials listed in the attached enclosure.
The NRC discussed their assessment of the Braidwood Station, Units 1 and 2, as documented in the March 2, 2020, End-of-Cycle Assessment Letter (ADAMS Accession Number ML20062D990), and the Byron Station, Units 1 and 2, as documented in the March 2, 2020, End-of-Cycle Assessment Letter (ADAMS Accession Number ML20052E965) during the webinar. Representatives from the NRC made links to those letters, inspection reports, fact sheets and brochures, and other public documents available to those in attendance.
