The DiabloCanyon Power Plant provides many benefits to the local community, including revenue, jobs, and cleanenergy. The plant not only protects children (and adults) from breathing in harmful sulfur dioxide and otherparticulates that come from the combustion of fossil fuels, but the plant can also help with the drought bydesalinating water.Removing the plant from operation would be a loss for the environment and public health.
