"On 12/27/10 at 0915 EST, a Dead On Arrival (DOA) crocodile was found in the Cooling Canal Interceptor Ditch. The carcass exhibited evidence of physical trauma due to natural causes and is not considered causal from plant operation or a plant vehicle. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and US Fish and Wildlife Service were notified on 12/27/10 at 1120 EST."

The licensee notified the NRC Resident Inspector. Notified both R2DO (Ayres) and Endangered Spiecies Group via E-mail.
