NON EMERGENCY Units 3 and 4 were at 100% power in mode 1 for this event.

"This is a 4 hour4.62963e-5 days <br />0.00111 hours <br />6.613757e-6 weeks <br />1.522e-6 months <br /> Non-Emergency notification to the NRC based on a notification to another government agency. This event is not related to the health and safety of the public.

"On 01/12/11 at 15:15 EST, a Dead on Arrival (DOA) crocodile was found in the Cooling Canal Interceptor ditch south of the Turkey Point plant. The animal exhibited evidence of physical trauma due to natural causes and is not considered causal from plant operations or a plant vehicle. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the US Fish and Wildlife Service were notified on 1/12/11 at 15:45."

The licensee notified the NRC Resident Inspector. Notified R2DO (Bonser).
