"This 4hour NonEmergency notification to the NRC is being made based on a notification to another govermnent agency per 10 CFR 50.72(b)(2)(xi).

"On July 21,2011 at 19:30 a deceased American Crocodile was identified in the Turkey Point Unit 4 intake. The crocodile's death was not caused by plant operations. The Federal Fish and Wildlife Service and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) have been notified."

The licensee informed the NRC Resident Inspector.

Notified R2DO (Sykes) and NRR (Endangered Species) via email.
