Dear Roy:

On July 19, 1979, during the deposition of the Staff's economic expert witness, Norr.an Lerner, you agreed to provide counsel for Houston Lighting & Power Company with copies of four or five memoranda. This agreenent is re-corded at page ninety-eight of the Lerner transcript. As of this date, houever, Houston still has not received copics of these memoranda.

Pursuant to your agreement, please forward copics of 4

the memoranda referred to in the course of the Lerner deposition as coon as possible.

This is the December 1979 discovery report c.f Houston

< Lighting & Power Company.

During the month of December, counsel for Houston deposed Jack Gambrell of the Cajun Electric Power Coopera-tive, J. H. Butts of the Deep East Texas Electric Coopera-tive, Inc., and John Wilson, the economic expert witness cf the Public Utilities Board of Brownsville, Texas (" PUB") .

Mr. Wilson's deposition was not completed, and counsel for Houston and PUB have agreed to continue the deposition at a mutually convenient time.

Houston's counsel also attended the various depositions noticed by the Department of Justice (" Department" ) and/or the MRC Staff ("Staf f") .
