WITHDRAWAL OF AMENDMENT REQUEST FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE DPR-70 UNIT NO. 1 SALEM GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-272 We hereby withdraw our request for amendment designated as LCR 85-20 and dated October 16, 1985. As discussed in a telephone conversation with Mr. D. C. Fischer of your staff, we are reevaluating our entire fire protection/detection technical specifications. The subject material of this withdraw request may be addressed, along with any other changes identified, at a later date.

Please apply the 10CFR170.21 fee payment that accompanied LCR 85-20 to our next amendment request.
