INADEQUATE CORE COOLING SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NOS. DPR-70 AND DPR-75 SALEM GENERATING STATION UNITS 1 AND 2 DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 Via letter dated February 23, 1990 (NLR-N90013), PSE&G proposed revisions to the Salem Technical Specification requirements for the Reactor Vessel Level Instrumentation System (RVLIS).
As discussed with Mr. J. C. Stone, Licensing Project Manager, the submittal requires some clarification.
The "Description of Change" section proposed that Unit No. 1 Tables 3.3-lla and 3.3-llb be combined into a single Table.
As indicated by the revised Technical Specification pages accompanying the February 23, 1990 letter, PSE&G intended that Unit No. 2 Tables 3.3-lla and 3.3-llb should also be combined.
Please issue an approved License Amendment accordingly.
PSE&G's significant hazards analysis as presented in the February 23, 1990 letter is not affected.
