'Ihis responds to ymir letter, dated Septenber 14, 1979, requestire a list of erdangered and threatened species ard those proposed for list -

ing in either category that may be present within the area of the pro-posed 2-unit Pebble Springs Nuclear Plant near Arlington, Oregon.

'Ib the best of our knowledge, there are no listed or proposed threat-ened or erdangered species within the area of the project. However, we are attaching a list of candidates which might within the fore-seeable future be proposed ard then undergo a final rulenaking. We urge that you consider informal consultation to avoid any conflicts at a later date should the species beccxne listed and be present with-in the area of the proinsal. Informal consultation should be requested of our Area Office at the following address:
