  • consumers Power company General Offices: 1945 West Parnell Road, Jackson, Ml 49201 * (517) 788-0550 May 20, 1982 Dennis M Crutchfield, Chief Operating Reactors Branch No 5 Nuclear Reactor Regulation US Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555 DOCKET 50-255 -LICENSE DPR-20 -PALISADES PLANT -INSERVICE PUMP TESTING PROCEDURES As per letter dated October 27, 1981, the Consumers Power Palisades Plant is updating its inservice pump testing program to comply with requirements of the ASME B&PV Code Section XI, 1977 edition with Addenda through Summer 1979. This is done in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55a. A telephone conversation with the NRC brought to the attention of Consumers Power Company that al though relief requests from certain code i terns relating to pump testing had been submitted; a complete description of the procedures for inservice testing of selected safety-related pumps had not.   • copy of these procedures, EM-09-04, is enclosed.
