Clinton Power Station Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) Section 13.2 Training
Dear Dr. Butler:
Illinois Power is revising its position on accelerated requalification for licensed operators. FSAR Section 13.2.2.1.5
" Accelerated Retraining" will be revised to include the following condition for placing a licensed operator in the accelerated retraining program:
"Not meeting the NRC passing criteria for an annual exam.
In addition, the licensee shall be removed from all licensed duties until successful completion of the accelerated retraining program. Successful completion shall require a reexa=ination in each unsatisfactory category or a retake of the entire examination as deter-mined by the Director - Nuclear Training."
This change is expected to resolve NRC Staff concerns on this issue. The FSAR will be revised in a future amendment to reflect this change.
