The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in the Erwin Town Hall Meeting Room, 211 N. Main Ave., in Erwin.

The meeting is being held to answer questions about the site, many of which were raised by citizens during a May NRC public meeting in Erwin. The NRC staff has reviewed those questions and will provide responses at the meeting.

There will also be an opportunity for citizens to ask NRC staff additional questions regarding the agencys oversight and regulatory activities at NFS, including recent performance and future NRC inspection and oversight plans.
