The NRC staff determined in Reference (1) that additional information was required to complete its review of the License Amendment Request submitted in Reference (2) . The NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC, (NextEra) response to the request for additional information is documented in the Enclosure.

This letter contains no new Regulatory Commitments or revisions to existing Regulatory Commitments.

ENCLOSURE NEXTERA ENERGY POINT BEACH, LLC POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST- REMOVAL OF COMPLETED LICENSE CONDITIONS AND CHANGE TO THE VENTILATION FILTER TESTING PROGRAM" (TAC NO- MF7352)

The licensee states in its application that the EOPs were revised with instructions to maintain containment spray for two hours while on sump recirculation. With this EOP revision, the licensee proposes to remove the license condition from Amendment 240/Amendment 244, Emergency Operating Procedures, which states:

NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC shall revise PBNP Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) to direct continued containment spray while on sump recirculation.

The NRC staff requests that the licensee confirm that the EOPs were revised to include instructions to maintain containment spray for two hours while on sump recirculation.

Response to RAI 1 Pursuant to Reference 3, Point Beach Emergency Operating Procedure (EOP) 1.3, "Transfer to Containment Sump Recirculation- Low Head Injection", was revised with instructions to maintain containment spray for two hours while on sump recirculation .
