In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q)(5) and 1 0 CFR 72.44(f), NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC (NextEra) hereby submits a description of changes to the Point Beach Nuclear Plant (PBNP)
Emergency Plan and a summary of the analysis demonstrating that the changes do not reduce
- the effectiveness of the plan. The plan continues to meet the requirements in 1 0 CFR 50 Appendix E and the planning standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b). The changes were incorporated in the following procedures issued June 24, 2020 at PBNP:
EP 3.0, Summary of Emergency Plan, Revision 28 EP 7.0, Emergency Facilities and Equipment, Revision 68 Description of Changes and Summary of Analysis EP 3.0 was revised to update specific commitments Point Beach has made with adopting to new revisions of NEI 99-01 Rev 6.
EP 7.0 was revised to remove area Dosimeter of Legal Record (DLR) radiation monitoring stations from additional onsite assessment equipment per AR 2338775 to clarify EP instrument surveillance requirements.
These changes were evaluated in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q)(3). The changes were determined to not reduce the effectiveness of the PBNP Emergency Plan.
