(3) NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC letter to NRC, dated July 28, 2010, License Amendment Request 261, Supplement 6, Extended Power Uprate NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC (NextEra) submitted License Amendment Request (LAR) 261 (Reference I ) to the NRC pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90. The proposed amendment would increase each unit's licensed thermal power level from 1540 megawatts thermal (MWt) to 1800 MWt, and revise the Technical Specifications (TS) to support operation at the increased thermal power level.

NextEra withdraws the Reference (2) submittal for reactor protection system (RPS) and engineered safety features actuation system (ESFAS) setpoints not related to the extended power uprate (EPU) in its entirety. NextEra will not implement non-EPU related RPS and ESFAS TS changes prior to implementationof the EPU on each Unit. NextEra now plans to implement the non-EPU and EPU RPS and ESFAS TS changes submitted in Reference (3) at the same time for each unit.

This letter contains no new Regulatory Commitments and no revisions to existing Regulatory Commitments.
