Dear Chris Schwarz:
Due to staff resource issues, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has had to revise the anticipated review schedule for your submittal dated August 3, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession Number ML23220A389), pertaining to Louisiana Energy Services (LES), doing business as Urenco USA (UUSA), license amendment request LAR 23-01 for elimination of IROFS50a, b, c, d, e, h, i, and j. In the acceptance email dated September 5, 2023 (ML23249A163), we initially anticipated completing our formal review by December 22, 2023.
Based on our evaluation and projection of current review schedules, we now anticipate completing our formal review by July 26, 2024. This date could change depending on the findings of our technical review, urgent assignments, or other factors. We will promptly communicate any significant changes to this schedule. The NRC staff estimates that completing the review of your submittal will still require approximately 300 staff hours which corresponds to about $90,000.00 (current rate of $300.00/hr).
The Enterprise Project Identification Number (EPID) L-2023-LLA-0107 remains valid.
Please reference this EPID number and Docket Number 07003103 in any future correspondence associated with this request.
