The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff received the Louisiana Energy Services LLC (LES), dba Urenco USA (UUSA) request for review and approval of the Enrichment Technology Company-United States (ETC-USA) Information System Security Plan (ISSP) submitted via letter dated August 7, 2023 (ML23220A008) and revised ETC-USA ISSP submitted via letter dated December 18, 2023 (ML23353A061). The NRC staff has completed its review and approves the ETC-US ISSP. The approval is documented in the memo and supporting evaluation dated February 7, 2024 (ML24009A086 non-public),
see attached. In addition, the NRC staff estimates that this action required approximately 5 hours5.787037e-5 days <br />0.00139 hours <br />8.267196e-6 weeks <br />1.9025e-6 months <br /> of review, which corresponds to about $1,500.00 ($300.00/hr). These hours were charged to EPID 000225/07003103/L-2023-SPR-0007, "Request for Review and Approval of ETC USA ISSP and 000222/07003103/L-2019-PMP-0015, Project Management for Urenco USA. EPID 000222/07003103/L-2019-PMP-0015 will remain open to support future work related to LES.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding, of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this memorandum will be available for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or electronically from the publicly available records component of ADAMS. The PDR is currently open Monday-Friday by appointment only.
