The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has received your submittal dated December 26, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)
Accession Number ML23360A771). Louisiana Energy Services (LES), doing business as Urenco USA (UUSA), via license amendment request LAR 23-10, requested for NRC approval to amend Materials License SNM-2010 to revise license condition 10 and approval of revisions to Information System Security Plans.
We have completed our acceptance review of the submittal. We have identified no administrative omissions or deficiencies that would prevent us from proceeding with a detailed review. Your submittal has been assigned Enterprise Project Identification Number (EPID) L-2023-SPR-0000. Please reference this EPID number and Docket Number 07003103 in any future correspondence associated with this request.
Please note that the NRC staffs technical review of your submittal may identify issues that require additional information. Based on our preliminary evaluation and projection of current review schedules, we anticipate completing our formal review by July 12, 2024. This date could change depending on the findings of our technical review, urgent assignments, or other factors. We will promptly communicate any significant changes to this schedule. In addition, the NRC staff estimates that completing the review of your submittal will require approximately 40 staff hours which corresponds to about $12,000.00 (current rate of
$300.00/hr).
