Docket No.:
B0-445/446 MEMORANDUM FOR:
Vincent S. Noonan, Director Comanche Peak Project FROM:
Chet Poslusny, Program Coordinator Comanche Peak Project
SUBJECT:
FEEDBACK REPORT TO ALLEGER SRT A-1 On March 25, 1985, the TRT held a feedback telephone interview with alleger SRT A-1.
The feedback was done by telephone rather than in person as agreed to with the alleger because it was a relatively general issue based on concer'ns which the individual raised with the Special Inspection Team, and was not a direct allegation.
The alleger's concerns (AQ-121, 122) were that program controls for non-ASME areas were less structured than for those areas constructed according to ASME codes; and that QA has been deficient because of lack of support of QC in the past.
The TRT found that the non-ASME program does indeed have a quality program and procedures which are being followed and concluded that the alleger's concerns were based on lack of familiarity with non-ASME procedures. Alleger SRT A-1 understood the findings and stated that he had no further concerns related to ASME vs. non-ASME work.
