i The attached report contains the details of a recent visit to the applicant's home of fices in San Francisco, California on February 7, 1

1969.

You will note that actual construction efforts associated with the containment structure are currently planned to begin sometime during June, 1969. The applicant also plans to have a detailed "quality assurance-quality control" program formulated and ready for imple-mentation at least a month prior to cournencing construction of the I

containment structure. We plan to review the applicant's program in detail as soon as it becomes available (currently anticipated by May, 1969).

1 You will also note that the project administration responsible for constructing the plant conforms to that submitted in the applicant's application for a permit to construct Diablo Canyon Unit No. 2.

No particular problems have been evidenced as of thf a date. Our l

first site visit is scheduled for March 11, 1969.
