VENDOR INSPECTION DOCKET NO. 50-275 Attached is my report of a vendor visit to Electric Steel Company (ESCO), Portland Oregon, on March 28, 1969. ESCO is manufacturing the fittings to be used in the piping of the primary coolant system of PG&E's Diablo Canyon nuclear plant No.1.

Based on the information obtained during the visit, it appears that the activities of PG6E, Westinghouse and ESCO are sufficient to provide reasonable assurance that the pipe fittings manufactured by ESCO will .be of a quality consistent with the requirements prescribed in the preliminary saic*v analysis report for the Diablo Canyon No. 1 nuclear power station.

You will note that ESCO retains the radiographs of the fittings.
