INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL SYSTEMS BRANCH REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION V0GTLE UNITS 1 & 2 In FSAR Question 420.2 the staff requested a response to IE Bulletin 79-27 concerns. Since the response, contained in FSAR Amendment 8, was not reviewed in detail by the staff prior to issuance of the draft SER, Open Item 65 was written covering the issue.

ICSB, with support from PSB, has now reviewed the resp.onse and requests lthat.the following information be provided for the staff to complete its review:

o IE Bulletin 79-27 and IE Circular 79-02 requires a determination if time delay circuits are used with inverters.

If so, a detennination is to be made if they are adjusted appropriately.

For inverters used for Vogtle, this would more than likely be low /high voltage cutoff on input and maybe output depending on the specific design. This should be addressed.
