INFORMATION REQUEST FOR PLANT SITE AUDIT FOR SEISMIC AND DYNAMIC QUALIFICATION REVIEW - HOPE CREEK 1 AND V0GTLE 1 AND BEAVER VALLEY 2 Seismic and Dynamic Qualification and Qualification of Mechanical Equipment reviews consist of two elements.
First is a review of the general program described in the FSAR.
Second is a detailed on-site audit of equipment as installed and the qualification documentation.
The FSAR contains very little information on how the applicant's equipment qualification program is actually being implemented.
Consequently, on-site audit is an important element of our review.
If you have not already requested the information in support of our review and audit from the applicant, we would appreciate it if you would do so.

The attached information request is intended to inform the staff of the applicuit's progress in their equipment qualification program. We need this information in,a timely manner to conduct our review a'nd prepare for the on site-audit. ' The applicant r'esponses should be sent to NRC, NRR, Equipment Qualification Branch.
Since we conduct these reviews with the assistance of the national laboratories, also please have the applicant send-one copy of the appropriate part of the response to the following laboratory coordinators:
