SECY-96-002, CONTINUATION OF THE NRC-FUNDED POSITION AT THE U.S. MISSION TO THE INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS, VIENNA, AUSTRIA Prior to my vote on SECY-96-002, I would appreciate your response to the following questions:
1.
In your view, what are the three most important accomplishments achieved by the current Nuclear Safety Attache in the time that he has served?
2.
How are the Nuclear Safety Attache's activities prioritized?
Do these reflect the priorities of the Commission, the EDO, or the Director of OIP?
3.
Does the Nuclear Safety Attache take direction solely from the Director of OIP, or does the Ambassador to the U.S.
Mission also have a role in the management of the individual?
4.
Does the Nuclear Safety Attache attend meetings where NRC staff cannot participate, or is he there in addition to staff presence?
If so, can this be viewed as a duplication
