d In accordance with the provisions of Section 123 of the Atomic Energy Act, as amended, the Nuclear Regulatory Commiission has reviewed the proposed

Agreement for Cooperation with the European Atomic Energy Community (EURATOM).

It is the view of the Commission that the proposed Agreement includes all of 1

the provisions required by law and, given the strong nonproliferation i

credentials of EURATOM and its member states as well as the advanced status of

. its commercial nuclear program, provides a sufficient framework for continued

cooperation. The Commission therefore recommends that you make the requisite J

statutory determination, approve the Agreement, and authorize its execution.
