ICSB Review Status: Complete for TACS 54458 As requested in TAC No. 54458, the Instrumentation and Control Systems Branch (ICSB) has reviewed the 248 problem sheets provided by the licensee for Grand Gulf - Unit 1 (Mississippi Power and Light Company).

Based on the review of the problem descriptions, the ICSB has determined that 69 of the 248 problems are within their scope of review. As re-quested, we have prioritized these 69 problems for resolution according to their safety significance. The enclosed Table identifies (1) 46 priority 1 items that should be resolved before Grand Gulf - Unit 1 ex-ceeds 5 percent of rated thennal power, (2) three priority 2 items that should be resolved during power escalation and (3) 20 priority 3 items that should be resolved during the first cycle of operation. This com-pletes the review requested under TAC 54458.
