ICSB Review Status: Complete By letter dated Septenber 9,1983, from L. F. Dale (Mississippi Power &
Light Company) to H. Denton (NRC); by letter dated October 11, 1983, fran J. P. McGaughy (MP&L) to H. Denton; and by letter dated March 20, 1984, from J. P. McGaughy to H. Denton the licensee for Grand Gulf-Unit 1 pro-posed changes to the facility's technical specifications. Per your re-quest the Instrumentation and Control Systems Branch (ICSB) has reviewed proposed changes numbered 7,18 and 28 from the September 9,1983 letter; proposed change number 1 from the October 11, 1983 letter; and a portion of proposed change number 2 from the March 20, 1984, letter. Based on its review of the changes and the justification provided by the licensee the ICSB finds that the proposed changes are acceptable. Enclosure 1 pro-vides an evaluation of each proposed change. Enclosure 2 contains the SALP input for this evaluation in accordance with Office Letter No. 44.
This completes the ICSB portion of TACS 52524, 54319, 54330, 54339, 54479 and 54457.
