GRAND GULF TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION REVIEW (TAC #54808)

In your memorandum of April 25, 1984 you requested that the staff review the MP&L technical specification problem sheets.

The Materials Application Section, Materials Engineering Branch, Division of Engineering, has completed the review of these problem sheets.

The problem sheets (PS) numbered 160 and 219 are concerned with the technical specification section that we review.

The concerns identified in PS-160 are clarifications.

The concern identified in PS 219 references our proof and review comments to the GG-1 Technical Specifications, which were documented in our memorandum to SSPB dated December 15, 1983.

The concern identified in PS 160 and a---

219 should be addressed by the licensee's contractor who prepared the-pressure-temperature limit curves.

Any proposed changes to the licensee's pressure-temperature limit curves must be reviewed by the MTEB prior to
