SUBJECT:
ICSB REVIEW 0F GRAND GULF - UNIT 1 PROBLEM SHEETS Plant Name: Grand Gul f-Unit 1 Docket No.:
50-416 TAC No.: 54458 Licensing Status: 0L Project Manager:
D. Houston Review Branch:
ICSB Review Status: Complete By memorandum dated April 10, 1984 you requested that we review the 248 Grand Gulf-Unit 1 Technical Specification problem area descriptions pro-vided by Mississippi Power and Light at the April 4,1984 meeting with the NRC staff. The purpose of this review was to identify those problem areas that should be resolved prior to next criticality under the existing low power license. The Instrumentation and Control Systens Branch (ICSB) has reviewed the 248 problem areas and found that with the exception of those problem areas identified by the licensee, no additional problem areas within the ICSB scope require resolution prior to next criticality.
This completes the ICSB portion of TAC 54458.
