GRAND GULF TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION, PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 3/4.3.7,

" MONITORING INSTRUMENTATION RADIATION MONITORING INSTRUMENTATION" (TAC #54317)

By submittal dated March 15, 1984, Mississippi Power and Light Company (MP&L) provided information regarding the proposed Technical Specification changes germaine to the Grand Gulf Technical Specification 3/4.3.7, " Monitoring Instrumentation Radiation Monitoring Instrumentation." The Radiological Assessment Branch (RAB) has evaluated the related Technical Specification changes and finds that MP&L is complying with NUREG-0800. Thus, the changes as proposed are acceptable. Our SER is attached.

This assessment was performed by J. L. Minns, RPS/RAB. SALP input for this action is also attached per NRR Office Letter 44.
