D. C. COOK UNIT 2 LICENSING REVIEW SCHEDULE A meeting was held on September 12, 1977 with representatives of American Electric Power Service Corporation to discuss resolution of outstanding issues on the D. C. Cook Unit 2 docket. An attendance list is enclosed.

The applicant presented possible approaches to the solution of outstanding items as delineated in the staff's second round questions / positions 1.ssued August 30, 1977.

The staff provided guidance as to the acceptability of the various approaches and further defined acceptance criteria for potential solutions. Further clarification of staff requirements in the Power Systems, Core Performance and Reactor Systems Branch areas of responsibility will be provided to the applicant through follow-up conference calls.

Applicant responses to the Q-2's are due September 30, 1977. The currently-approved licensing schedule calls for a publication of the D. C. Cook Unit 2 Safety Evaluation Report Supplement before November 1,1977.
