SUMMARY
.(; v-During the June, 1980 report period, a comparison of per-formance to the project summary target schedule shows the hroject lost six days to schedule with the most significant-slippages the result of projected delays in delivery of permanent plant equipment and in electrical work.
Corrective action programs are being devised and considered to improve ^w=cently identified re
,,,w critical-paths.
During this reporting period manpower levels were above those originally projected.
Overall productivity levels continue to remain above forecast for both direct and support labor.

CONTAINMENT
(.
Exterior rebar on the hip section of the containment domeliner continues and supports the schedule of placing the next two concrete lifts during September.
Erection and weldout of holar crane rail brackets is in progress.
Design release is expected this month for temporary power connections and routing for ener-gizing this' crane prior to the dome weldout in late fall.
All major interior concrete walls to Elevation 817 have been poured out.
This includes the refueling gate. canals which were cast in place this month.
Shoring is complete for the refueling deck at Elevation 828 and robar installation is under way for this slab.
Structural steel and platform work outside the drywell continues with the 755 elevation expected to be essentially complete in mid July.
Elevation 781 work is in progress and is estimated L
to be substantially complete by the first week of August.
The only remaining obstacles to the completion of these platforms in August is the removal of the pedestal construction cranes which will be done prior to the dome weldout this fall.
Mechanical work outside the drywell continues with all main steam bellows expected to be erected by mid July.
One-half of the four flued heads and four mainsteam isolation valves are welded out.
Electrical work on lighting and communication conduit, and power cable tray continue outside the drywell and-below the 803 elevation.
A concentrated effort is being expended toward electrical pene-tration weldout.
Inside the drywell, mechanical areas are available and most systems are currently being worked.
The largest remaining system,
. (1-mainsteam relief, started this week.
L kv-At the reactor pressure vessel, work continues on the install-ation of control rod drive housings and hydraulic lines under the vessel, the rework of feedwater nozzles on the vessels, and installation of control rod drive piping hangers inside the drywell.
FUEL BUILDING All storm damage repairs to the structural steel are now completed and final bolt up of remaining steel crection is expected by mid July.
The fuel handling platform is preassembled and stored for completion on Elevation 755 feet.
The east half of the roof slab is scheduled to have concrete placed the first week of July with the second half of the roof scheduled for concrete k.-
placement the first week of August.
This will complete the last building roof other than the containment dome.
The revised schedule for the overhead crane, necessitated by-storm damage to structural steel, indicates turning the crane over to the startup function by July 21 and construction utili-zation by the first week of August.
The installation of piping hangers and large and small bore piping are continuing at Elevations 712 and 737 feet, and have started for Elevation 755 feet.
Cable tray hangers are essentially complete and cable tray crection is well under way on the 712 foot elevation of this building.
Conduit has also started on this elevation.
Cable tray hangers are progressing on Elevation 737 feet and scheduled to be conplete the first week of July at which time cable tray erection will commence.
o AUXILIARY BUILDING C, '%s The availability of vendor information has allowed the install-ntion of gas boundary steel to proceed again and this effort +is now supporting electrical penetration work inside the containment.
The final 6900 Volt switchgear was delivered to the site in early June and is now in place.
Bus duct installation at.Elevdtion.737 feet has stopped due to engineering problems but the bus duct at Elevation 762 feet is again being installed on the east side of this building with the recent resolution of hanger design in this area.
The installation of piping hangers, along with large and small bore piping continue on all elevations of this building.
Electrical work for the installation of tray hangers, cable tray, and conduit continue in the lower four elevations of this building.
Cable pulling continues in the lower two floors of the auxiliary building.
TURBINE BUILDING Civil work nears completion in the heater bay area with only the 805 roof elevation and penthouses remaining.
All wall and ceiling coating was installed in both Moisture i
Separator Reheater (MSR) bays and the MSR's are scheduled to be set in place the first week of July.
Initial alignment of the turbine crossaround piping is contin-uing with 24 of the 40 spools rigged into place.
Ten of the remaining spools will be released for installation with the final acceptance of the MSR alignment in early July, w

, r-l '
Condenser tubing is now 77% complete with over 41,000, tubes
.(.v-installed.
Extraction stean piping within the condenser is complete.
Work continues in the mainstean tunnel area on mainsteam and feedwater piping.
.The installation of pipe hangers and large and small bore piping are'now well under way at all e'evations of.this building.
l Instrumentation installation is under way for the lower three elevations of the turbine building.
The installation of cable tray and hangers is essentially
' complete for this building and conduit installation, along with the pulling of wire and cable follow as required.
CONTROL BUILDING All termination cabinets are installed at the control room elevation.
We have currently received 10 of the 26 Power Generation Control Complex (PGCC) modules on site in support of their set in late summer or early fall.
Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioner (HVAC) duct and hanger erection is under way on all elevations of the control building with the installation of dampers above the control room floor

scheduled for early July.
w-WB s
Throughout the building bulk commodity installation continues for large and small bore piping, cable tray and conduit, instru-mentation and equipment, and wire and cable pulling.
Revisions to conduit design on Elevation 800 caused some delay in this work.
5 DIESEL GENERATOR
..V Piping and electrical operations continue with a small work force in this non-critical building as available resources are dedicated to more critical areas.
Nine electrical motor control centers were set in place on Elevation 762 during June.
RADWASTE BUILDING Civil work continues with the installation of concrete floor slab' topping, framino for the deaerator tank, and support of the elevator erection.
The installation of concrete block walls continues to be a major activity in this building.
HVAC installation is under way for hangers and duct work in the radwaste control center room, machine shops, and offices on' elevation 762 feet.
Large and small bore
[
piping and hangers continue for all elevations of this building.
Instrumentation work is well under way in the basement and has started on the second and third elevations of this building.
Cable tray nears completion in this building and conduit installation is well advanced.
The pulling of wire and cable was concentrated most heavily in this building during June.
SCREENIIOUSE Work continues in this building with cable tray complete and larne pipe installation virtually complete.
Remaining work on conduit and small pipe is concentrated on the ground floor.
The south catwalk is now complete in support of the firepump turnover.
The overhead traveling crane is now complete and IIVAC work is in progress.
