OF MEETING HELD WITH FP&L IN BETHESDA, MARYLAND OCTOBER 1, 1982 REGARDING CONSTRUCTION COMPLETION DATE Due to construction schedule slippage, the FP&L present estimate of core load is January 1983. The staff will notify the Bevill committee of this date. Based on the present estimated core load'date, FP&L wasi told that the staff will-work to 'a mid-December operating license.issuanc,e milestone.

FP&L agreed to supply by 0ctober 8,1982 an update on bulk quantity t-construction status and. start-up program status. As a minimum, information on the following will be provided:

1.

pipe whip: restraints 2.

large and small bore piping 3.

.large bore hangers 4.

power cable pull 5.

power cable terminations

~ 6.- control cable ' pull 7.

control cable terminations 8..

signal cable pull 9.

signal cable terminations 10.

pre-operational test performed J

FP&L will provide by October 8, 1982 a rack-up of licensed current operators,

. licensed supervisors and candidates for operator license. The staff brought to FP&L attention the recent operability problems 'of the San Onofre 2 and 3 post accident sampling system. The staff noted that if these problems pertain to the similiar system in.St. Lucie 2, there could be potential schedular delays.
