In addition to the cogent reasons advanced by Suffolk County, NSC suggests that the limited resources available to it emphasizes the desirability of the County's proposal.

The coordination of the views of Intervenors, a course frequently urged by the Board, will be facilitated by allowing all parties to meet within the two weeks suggested by the County. The interchange may clarify the concerns of the parties and permit more sharply focused contentions when filed.
