Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 3, Reporting of Potential Significant Deficiencies in Design and Construction, Potential for Loss of All Auxiliary Feedwater Following a Small Steam Line Rupture Reference (1) described a potential significant deficiency concerning loss g of auxiliary feedwater due to a small steam line rupture and committed to providing an interim report when tne results of our study were completed.

Reference (2) commi*ted us to provide you with a final report by February 1, 1982. Because a detailed review now indicates an additional study will be required prior to issuance of a final report, we hereby request our final report be postponed until April 1, 1982.
