Station Blackout Coping Assessment Reference 3 provided Omaha Public Power District's (0 PPD) response to the station blackout rule as it applies to Fort Calhoun Station. This reference indicated that additional analysis would be et,nducted with respect to a concern regarding possible leakage.through the Control Element Drive Mechanism (CEDM) seal s . The required analysis was completed prior to December 31, 1989 as committed in Reference 4, and is available for review at OPPD. The test results indicate that the CEDM seals would perform their intended function and will not change the Reactor Coolant System inventory coping analysis, if you should have any questions, please contact me.
