AMENDMENT N0. 57 TO THE PRELIMINARY SAFETY ANALYSIS REPORT FOR CLINCH RIVER BREEDER REACTOR PLANT The application for a Construction Permit and Class 104(b) Operating License for the Clinch River Breeder Reactor Plant, docketed April 10, 1975, in NRC Docket No. 50-53/, is hereby amended by the submission of Amendment No. 57 to the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report pursuant to 50.34(a) of 10 CFR Part 50. This Amendment No. 57 includes: updates to Section 7, " Instrumentation and Controls"; Section 11.6, "Offsite Radiological Monitoring Program"; Section 15.A, "CRBRP Radiological Source Term for Assessment of Site Suitability"; and other updates and revisions.

A Certificate of Service, confinning service of Amendment No. 57 to the PSAR upon designated local public officials and representatives of the EPA, will be filed with your office after service has been made. Three signed originals of this letter and 97 copies of this amendment, each with a copy of the submittal letter, are hereby submitted.
