testing and MSIV closure testing was also performed. A' control rod. sequence

  • exchange was performed' and reactor power.was slowly ramped up af terward.

n..

F: On September 28 a' spurious actuation of- the Turbine-Cent rator Digital Electro-Hydraulic fluid; reservoir low. level trip circuit resulted in a reactor scram. .The.DEH System was inspected and tested to determine the root cause which was' attributed to mechanical agitation caused by abnormal unloader valve actuation. This occurred after shifting DEH pumps. Startup surveillances were performed on September 29 and the plant was started up on September 30, 1989.

A capacity factor of 90.0 percent was achieved for the month of September 1989.-
