OPERATIONS NARRATIVE COOPER NUCLEAR STATION September 1996 The plant operated near full power for most of the month. On 9/7/96, the plant reduced power to perform a control rod sequence exchange. Following the adjustment, a flow ramp was implemented.

Due to thennal limits and a high rod line, full power could not be achieved. Another adjustment was made on 9/10/96 to optimize the rod pattern. Another flow ramp was implemented and full power was achieved on 9/11/96.

A capacity factor of 95.9 % was achieved for the month.
