TOPICAL REPORT ON BASE MATERIALS TESTS FOR CELL LINER STEELS Enclosed are seventy (70) copies of WARD-D-0252, " Final Report on Base Materials Tests for Cell Liner Steels," dated January 1980. This report is a reference to the CRBRP-3, Vol. 2, " Assessment of Thermal Margin Beyond the Design Base."

The CRBRP cell liner material is ASME SA-516 (Grade 55) steel plate.

The weldment specification is SFA 5.20 E70 T-1 for flux covered arc weldment. This report summarizes test data obtained on the specified steel and weldments for a temperature range of 75 to 1800 F. ,
