Mr. Larry Cawlik, my Associste Manager for Engineering, and I met Mr. Borchelt at the Bravrtsv111e Airport at 11:00 sm, hech 25. 1980 and picked up Mr. Borchelt and Mr. Buddy Teague of CP&L. The four of .

us then met Mr. Tyler Russell of CF5L at the Beacon h rbor Restaurant for a luncheon conference. .

Mr. Borchelt stated that he had been asked by Mr. Durwood ,Chalker ..

of C5W to meet with me and bring me up to date on ongoing discussions l

l hetween the Texas 10U's relative toi a settle:nent of the interstate -

versus intrastate problems between CSV and Texas Utilities and Houston -

Light and Power. '

I also took occasion to caution Mr. Borchcit that my legal counsel was very likely to be upser. when I informed the:n of the status of settle-ment talks of which they had.no knowledge and urged him to have his at-torneys contact my attorneys and inform them of the status of settlement and why they had been exclud=1 from settlement discuzzion.s.
