SUPPLEf1 ENTAL AFFIDAVIT OF JERRY N. WILSON Jerry N. Uilson, being duly sworn, deposes and says:

1. My name is Jerry N. Wilson. I am employed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission as a Section Leader in the Reactor Systems Branch, Division of PWR-A, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation. Pty business address is the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Washington, D.C. 20555. My professional qualifications and educational background were incorporated in my previously filed affidavit in this proceeding of February 27, 198G (submitted under cover letter, dated February 28, 1986, to the Licensing Board).
2. On July 14, 1986, I submitted an affidavit for the purpose of responding to the questions propounded by the Board in its Memorandum and Order, dated June 23, 1986.
3. Since my affidavit of July 14, 1986, it has come to my attention that certain statements contained in that affidavit may be erroneous.

The purpose of this affidavit , therefore , is to amend my affidavit of July 14, 1986.

4. The last three sentences of my answer to Board Question 2 should be stricken, and that answer amended to read as follows:

A.2. There are three safety-related diesel generator exhaust stacks.

All three have been identified as not designed to withstand tornado- or hurricanc-generated missiles. The exhaust stacks exit the external wall of the diesel generator building at elevation 95 '8" . The openings in the diesel generator building for each exhaust stacl: are 48" in diameter. The exhaust stacks are 32" in diameter, but the Applicants' analysis conservatively used the 48" opening as the target area.

5. Item (7) in my response to Question 5 (page 6-7 of the affidavit) should be stricl en and the following substituted therefor:

(7) The potential missile model assumes (a) A missile distribution based on EPRI survey without censoring as was done for the EPRI studies.

(b) A missile density upper limit increased by a factor of 2.5 over the EPRI survey to account for local variations in missile density.

(c) One half of the potential missiles are distributed up to 20 ft.

above grade with the remainder at grade.

(d) The number of unrestrained potential missiles is conservatively chosen to be JPP of all potential missiles.
