WNP-2, OPERATING LICENSE NPF-21 WITHDRAWALOF REQUEST FOR AMENDMENT

Reference:

Letter G02-93-282, dated December 6, 1993, JV Parrish (SS) to NRC, "Request For Amendment To Technical Specification 3/4.6.1.4, Main Steam Isolation Valve Leakage Control System" In the reference (M88389) the Supply System requested changes to the WNP-2 Technical Specifications. The requested changes, although still desirable, will be achieved through implementation of the "Improved Technical Specification (ITS)." Since the time of submittal of the reference the Supply System made the decision to pursue the ITS and we are currently in the final stages of submittal preparation for WNP-2. In order to better use limited staff resources, the Supply System hereby withdraws the requested changes contained in the reference.
