1 item deferred to SEP Because the implementation of safe shutdown capability for San Onofre has been deferred to the SEP evaluation the SEP Branch will be conducting the safe shutdown review. Prior to the transfer of this responstbility from the Plant Systems Branch, we had requested additional information.
Our safe shutdown requests whose disposition is now a matter which SEP Branch should follow up-are contained in Enclosure 1. Our requests related to the licensee's letter dated January 15, 1979 and forwarded to D. Ziemann in a letter dated April 13, 1979 is herein enclosed as Enclosure 2.
