ENCLOSURE 2 7590-01 U. S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-206 SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF COMPLETION DATES By letter dated February 10, 1981, Southern California Edison Company
.(the licensee)-requested that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) grant an extension until November 17, 1981, for installation of eight plant modifications for the fire protection system at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit No. 1 located in San Diego County, California.
The Commission's Director of Nuclear Reactor Regulation has concluded that good cause has been shown and that such postponement will not adversely affect the health and safety of the public. Accordingly, pursuant to 10 CFR 50.48(d), the request has been granted.
For further details with respect to this action, see (1) the licensee's request dated February 10, 1981, and (2) the Director's letter to the licensee dated February 13, 1981.
