Docket No. 50-206 Provisional Operating License No. DPR-13 Fire Protection Program Review San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 1 By letter dated November 17, 1978, you forwarded two NRC staff positions concerning passive failure protection (i.e., fire retardant coating and/or fire stops) of electrical cable trays at San Onofre Unit 1. The NRC staff positions are PF-27A, "Cable Spreading Area", and PF-51, "Containment".
Your November 17, 1978 letter requested that we provide our response to each of the NRC staff positions by November 27, 1978.
As discussed with members of your staff, we are unable to submit our response by November 27, 1978. Our response is currently being prepared and will be submitted by December 1, 1978.
