RE: Crystal River 3 Reactor Building Dome Delamination December 10, 1976 The document has the following statement on page 110:
The concrete was unusually notch sensitive; that is, likely to fail in a brittle manner at points of local stress concentration.
Although this was written with respect to the dome, I would be curious to know if the containment cylinder concrete was ever addressed for a similar concern.
I would also want to know if the containment cylinder concrete was from the same, or similar, batch.
