Acceptance review for CR3 - LAR 312-Departure from a method of evaluation for AUX BLDG over head crane, implementation schedule change (TAC ME8234)
- Dan, On March 19, 2012, Florida Power Corporation (the licensee) submitted requested the NRCs approval to revise the implementation scheduled in an NRC approved amendment dated December 27, 2011, for Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant (CR-3). The NRC staff has completed its acceptance review of the licensees submitted a license amendment request (LAR 312). The NRC staff finds that the licensee has adequately included the information needed in of LIC-109, Acceptance Review Procedures, Revision 1. Therefore, the NRC staff finds that the CR-3 LAR-312 includes sufficient information for the staff to proceed in conducting a detailed technical review.
